Common Issues
When provisioning your miner, ensure you’ve accepted in-app permissions (when prompted) and Bluetooth is enabled. Also make sure your mobile device is discoverable on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network you’ve selected. Guest networks are not supported, as they do not allow communication between connected devices.
First, make sure your miner is visible on the network, identified by a green Wi-Fi icon on the miner card. Navigate to the Pools page and confirm you’ve entered a wallet address for your selected pool.
Then:
Return to the Miners page
Tap the Pool icon on your miner card and select your pool
Tap Save & Reboot
The miner will restart and begin connecting to the pool.
If your hashrate still shows 0, check the status light:
Solid light – Your router may be blocking the pool connection, or your pool settings may be incorrect.
Flashing light – Contact support for further assistance.
Worker names are managed directly in the app. You can rename your miner by tapping its name – this name is used as the worker identifier. This is a deliberate design choice that allows multiple miners to operate under a single pool card.
You must register your wallet address at solostats.ckpool.org before hashrate statistics are logged by the service.
You can do this at the top of the page after navigating via the external link icon on your miner card.
If the ambient temperature happens to exceed the miner’s ability to cool itself, or airflow is obstructed, the miner will automatically throttle it’s hashrate and power use until normal conditions are restored.
This status is shown in the app through the colour of the border around the miner card.
